Herbert's gadgets

Ok, as I was reading the EPF message by billybob, I noticed that what Herbert and Klutzy were sitting on looked like the heads of the yellow and blue hydras!
 
Compare the heads of the beasts!
 

Do they not look similar? (Me and mah fancy language)
