In yesterday's What's New blog, Billybob adressed the issue of the "multiple window glitch" I was talking about earlier this week. It's now been verified that users using Internet Explorer 7 and 8 as their web browsers are the only ones experiencing this problem. Billybob says that the team is working on fixing this bug, and I have good faith that they'll fix it by the end of the week if not sooner.
I think that I've figured out just why it's acting up, but it's just a theory.
As I said in my "Seeing Double" story the other day, I logged on to a server on my "main" penguin and saw that one of my "side" penguins was still there, even though I had logged off on that side penguin. My guess is that CP isn't registering when you log on/off multiple penguins, and so they think that you're on several penguins at one time.
If you're one of the poor saps that has to put up with this at the moment, you can download Safari or Firefox (both FREE and VIRUS-FREE) or any other web browser, really, until Club Penguin fixes this problem.
And in case you're too lazy to type in the actual web adresses yourself:
Get Safari here: http://www.apple.com/safari/
Get Firefox here: http://www.mozilla.com/
THANKS for all the FUN and WADDLE ON :)
